Professional Skills Development and Impactful Service Placement Opportunities For Youth aged 16-30
Are you between 16–30 years of age and passionate about making a real impact in your community? Thrive: Nurturing Youth Potential is here to help you turn that passion into action! The Canada Service Corps (CSC) offers meaningful volunteer opportunities that equip you with essential life skills, leadership experience, and a chance to expand your network.

Program Details
Youth Thrive Program under the Canada Service Corps (CSC) is dedicated to creating, promoting, and facilitating access to volunteer service opportunities that are meaningful to youth.
Here’s what the Youth Thrive Program offers:
- Inclusive Opportunities: The program is designed to be inclusive, ensuring that youth from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous, Black, racialized, 2SLGBTQI+ and persons with disabilities have access to meaningful volunteer service opportunities.
- Service Placements: Through small councils, youth will participate in service placements with non-profit organizations that will last a minimum of 120 hours.
- Skill and Knowledge Development: Youth participants are provided with the knowledge, skills, tools, and support they need to successfully complete their service placements. This includes essential training seminars and support systems to ensure their success.
Meal vouchers will be provided for select activities to support youth participants.

- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or has been granted refugee status in Canada
- Age 16 – 30
