We also offer specialized programs that serve local apprentices, employers, newcomers, persons with disabilities, students, women, youth, with more to come!

Program Description: This program offers aspiring women a chance to acquire practical skills and gain hands-on experience, preparing them for a fulfilling career in the construction industry. The program creates a safe and supportive learning environment tailored specifically to female participants.

Program Description: Love trees? The Arborist Ground Worker Training Program provides job seekers with industry training that enhances productivity, safety and efficiency while enhancing communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills — all in a practical learning environment that mimics the workplace setting.

Program Description: Completing the Circle (CTC) is an employment and skills development program for youth aged 15 to 30, funded by Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS). It offers up to five weeks of tailored training, work placements, and wraparound support to help youth overcome employment barriers and achieve lasting career success.

The program is currently available to all businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees. This office is open to employers only.

Program Description: The General Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship for Youth program is offered in partnership with Mohawk College. Based out of our Hamilton office, the program prepares participants for the in-demand trades of carpentry and construction. Participating youth will complete training and a paid job placement to achieve certification. Staff provide ongoing support at every stage to ensure long-term success for all participants.
